Welcome to River Place

Nestled in the hills and close to the San Diego River, the city of Santee is home to the community of River Place.  Fifteen miles from the Naval Station and only 20 miles northeast of San Diego, the community houses a full-sized pool, 3 tot-lots with jungle gyms and slide, and a community center that’s currently undergoing exciting renovations. 

The Chett F. Harritt Elementary School and West Hills High School are located within driving distance from the community, along with a Wal-Mart, Target, and several grocery stores.  

In addition, two medical centers—Sharp Grossmont Hospital and Balboa Naval Center—are just a short drive away, along with the Santee Lakes Regional Park. 

There’s a trolley stop located in the Trolley Shopping Square of Santee that offers public transportation to all residents. And for great city day trips, visit Sea World, the world-famous San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park with its museums, merry-go-round and more.
